Rainwater Treatment Plant
All the versions of this article: [English] [français]Since 2004, the ICC of Calais has been working on a project for managing and reducing the flow of pollutants in rainwater. In 2010, a call to tender for the treatment of this runoff water was issued for the talus nord zone. Backed with our experience in the field of harbour activities, Saint Dizier Environnement won the contract, thanks to a global treatment and automated management system.
APPRAISAL
The zone to be treated extends over a surface of 10.9 hectares rendered impermeable, generating a flow rate of decennial rainwater of 1.9 m 3 /s. The main constraint is the need to treat the flow without a by-pass.A dimensioning using the total effect method was therefore established.
