Application :

The KAH09 solar oil alarm is an ATEX device associated with pre-treatment devices (decanters and oil separators) which ensures optimum operation of the appliance by means of a level control system.

Conception :

  • IP 65 polycarbonate enclosure for wall or floor mounting (optional). Dimensions (WxHxD): 200 x 400 x 132 mm
  • ATEX certification: control unit II (1) G [Ex ia] II B for installation in non-hazardous areas, combined with VTT 09 ATEX 027X certified hydrocarbon sensor for installation in Zone 0
  • Model suitable for ambient temperatures from -30°C to +60°C, with 12V and 7 Ah lead-acid battery
  • Alarm indication by activation of the flashing light, which flashes every 5 seconds until the alarm stops
  • The KAH09 alarm measures the status of the oil detection probe every hour, thus allowing great autonomy of the alarm for more than 10 days, including with the triggering of the flashing light

Fonctionnement :

The KAH09 alarm system triggers a flashing light as soon as the oil layer in the separator reaches the upper part of the probe. The alarm signals when it is necessary to drain or clean the separator. The KAH09 alarm must be installed outside the ATEX zone. Only the oil probe is designed to be in zone 0. The installation is energy independent with a battery powered by a solar panel.
